RefWorks Ending - Library Advises on the Transfer of References
The subscription for the RefWorks reference management program expires at the end of 2021. If you want to keep your references for later use, transfer your references in RefWorks to another program or save them otherwise before the turn of the year.
The subscription of the RefWorks software brought to you for free by the Turku University Library expires on 31 December 2021 and will no longer be renewed. This is, inter alia, because the terms of the agreement offered are incompatible with EU data protection laws.
When?
The current RefWorks subscription of the University of Turku is valid until 31 December 2021, after which RefWorks cannot be used. Also, RefWorks does not sell individual licenses, so you might want to store your references either in another reference management program or in any other way before 2022.
What?
To export your references in RefWorks, you can transfer them to another reference management program, such as Zotero or Mendeley, or in another way. Free versions of both Zotero and Mendeley are available.
