Turku Åbo Summer School invites participants worldwide to join a two-week programme in one of Finland's most popular and traditional student cities. Apply by 14 April 2024!

The Finnish summer is short, yet beautiful. What better way to spend it than learning and expanding your knowledge and professional skills! Turku Åbo Summer School offers you the best affordable and high-quality summer studies provided by the universities and universities of applied sciences in Turku.

The courses are priced from 50 to 75 euros. Course fees include teaching, grading and participation. We focus on offering the summer school students courses with diverse teaching methods and interactive learning.

A joint endeavour for excellence

The Summer School is a collaboration between five higher education institutions in the Turku region, offering 18 fully accredited courses covering a wide range of topics in their respective fields. In a city with 40,000 students and 5 universities we collaborate. Each university offers the best courses in their respective fields with top-quality teaching.

Join us on-site or online

The Turku Åbo Summer School will take place in August 2024, offering both online and on-site courses. On-site courses may include some online components, such as pre-assignments or exams, outside of the contact teaching period, but in-person attendance in Turku between 5-16 August 2024 is required. 

The orientation day for on-site studies in Turku is oraganised on 4 August and the contact teaching period for the on-site courses is 5-16 August.
