Collaboration at the Department of Archaeology
The multidisciplinary nature of archaeology provides an excellent foundation for close-knit collaboration with various institutes and research centres.
We collaborate together with actors in the cultural heritage sector, such as the Finnish Heritage Agency and Finnish Museums Association. We also collaborate locally with e.g. the Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova Museum, Nautelankoski Museum, Raisio Museum Harkko, Turku Museum Centre and Vanhalinna Museum. Our other partners include Metsähallitus, domestic and foreign universities, as well as other actors in the cultural sector, such as private companies and associations.
