Studying at the Institute of Biomedicine
The Institute of Biomedicine is in charge of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Biomedicine (in Finnish) and of two international Master’s Degree Programmes (Drug Discovery and Development, and Biomedical Imaging).
In addition, the Institute of Biomedicine offers teaching in cell biology and anatomy, physiology, medical biochemistry and genetics, microbiology and immunology, virology, pharmacology, pathology and forensic medicine in the medical and dental curriculums (in Finnish), as well as for the specialist training in medical genetics, microbiology, pathology and forensic medicine, clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.
The Institute also provides doctoral training in two doctoral programmes: Drug Research Doctoral Programme and Turku Doctoral Programme in Molecular Medicine.
