University of Turku among the Best 400 in THE World University Rankings 2021
The University of Turku is among the best 400 universities in the world according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021 published on 2 September 2020.
The University of Turku was placed in the 351–400 range in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021. The ranking is the same as last year.
In the World University Rankings 2021, altogether 1,500 universities from 93 different countries were ranked. The comparison is based on the success in five main categories including teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook.
Of the Finnish universities, the University of Helsinki was ranked highest at 98. The University of Oxford was again ranked as the best university in the world. The top ten included universities from the United States and the United Kingdom.
