Open infrastructures
Open research infrastructures and open science infrastructures are an integral part of the process by which knowledge and science influence.
The University of Turku is a high-quality science university that aims for high-quality and scientifically and socially impactful research, utilizing high-quality and open research infrastructures. The openness of research infrastructures is also guided by the University of Turku's own infrastructure program.

The University of Turku also has a wide range of different research equipment in use, several of which are also suitable for joint use. The research equipment base can be browsed in the OpenIRIS system, where it is also possible to reserve certain equipment from the reservation calendar.
