Dr. Péter Mezei, Associate Professor, University of Szeged and Adjunct Professor of University of Turku, held a guest lecture 15 November 2017 at the Faculty of Law commemorating his 20th teaching visit to the University of Turku. Nearly 30 colleagues and students gathered to listen the lecture.
Professor Jan Wouters (KU Leuven) opened the Turku Law School academic year 15 September by giving a lecture: "The European Union in a Rapidly Changing a World: An Anchor of Stability?".

This prestigious celebration, the many traditions and that we were conferred in the year that Finland turns 100 feels like a privilege, said Doctor of Philosophy Annika Adamsson outside the Turku Cathedral. And she was not the only one. Finland 100 celebration was mentioned dozens of times throughout the celebration.
The University of Turku Faculty of Law joined forces with Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Swansea University to organize a seminar on judicial protection in the field of EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy on 8 May 2017.
