WORK2019 Conference call for abstracts is open!

​International, interdisciplinary WORK2019 conference will be organized in the Finlandia Hall and the National Museum of Finland, in Helsinki Finland on 14-16 August 2019. The conference is organized by SWIPE research consortium together with Turku Centre for Labor Studies, University of Turku and the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. The theme for WORK2019 is 'Real Work in the Virtual World'. The conference includes over 20 streams with relevant research topics on work and working life.

The WORK2019 theme 'Real Work in the Virtual World' calls for explorations, analyses and discussions on the complexities of the current work. Examining the real work in the virtual world extends to the meanings and contents of work, organizations of work, the enabling technologies and the blurring boundaries between public sector and private companies. All creative ways of addressing the theme of real work in the virtual world are welcome!
