International Students Read in Finnish to Seniors as Part of Finland 100 Centenary Celebration

– It is such a great feeling when I get the chance to talk to Finnish people, Ezter Ujvari from Hungary describes her experiences after reading a cook book in plain language to Sirkka Katajisto at Ruusukortteli assisted living residence. They were brought together by the national Minä luen sinulle (I read to you) campaign week that encouraged the students of the Finnish language at the Language Centre of the University of Turku to read and talk to elderly people and the mentally disabled.

AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) has selected 35 most inspirational innovative practices from its member universities through the Innovations That Inspire initiative. Altogether 315 practices from 188 institutions in 33 countries were submitted by AACSB member universities. AACSB is an U.S. organisation that accredits business schools all over the world.
