The first year of the Turku Intersectoral Excellence Scheme (TIES), which started at the University of Turku on 1 September 2023, has proved to be a success. The pioneering programme has helped create new ways of working across disciplines and sectors.
Turku Collegium for Science, Medicine and Technology (TCSMT) is a multidisciplinary and interactive research community for top researchers in the early stages of their careers. At TCSMT, a maximum of four postdoctoral positions and four collegium researcher positions are now open.

The position of Turku Institute for Advanced Studies (TIAS) research collegium as an interdisciplinary centre of research excellence was further strengthened in the beginning of this year when six new Postdoctoral Fellows started in their three-year long positions. The new Postdoctoral Fellows introduce their research projects in an online seminar on Wednesday, 20 January.
The Turku Collegium for Science and Medicine invites applications for a maximum of five fixed term postdoctoral researcher positions. The post doc positions offer a base for multidisciplinary research in an international and interdisciplinary environment, where the researchers form a tight community and receive peer-support from their colleagues.
