The Erno Lehtinen's Online Colloquium online lecture series begins in October
The online lecture series “Erno Lehtinen Online Colloquium” ELOC will begin this October 7 at the University of Turku. The interactive lecture series celebrates the 70th birthday of Professor of Education Erno Lehtinen and his decades-long exemplary research career.
The first set of colloquium feature seven top scholars in the field of learning and instruction from around the world. These speakers will stimulate thought and discussion on themes of flexible mathematical thinking, support for early mathematical skills, the social dimension of cognition, the nature of intelligence, digital learning environments, and spontaneous mathematical focusing.
The online event, organized via Zoom, will feature an active discussion on the theme following the presentation, first between Professor Lehtinen and the presenter, then in small groups between the participants.
