The TIAS board is responsible for organizing the application and review processes together with other TIAS activities. The board consists of representatives from all five TIAS faculties of the University of Turku.

Free Science Protects Free Society
A seminar for free science and scholars was organised at the University of Turku in late November. The event was the first national Scholars at Risk Finland seminar, bringing together university representatives from Finland and other Nordic countries. The seminar also included speeches by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters.
Become a Mentor for a Student
The mentoring programmes of the University of Turku support students’ transition into professional life and researchers’ and other staff members’ professional development. The University has mentoring programmes for Master's degree students who are about to graduate, young researchers, international staff and grant researchers who are aiming for a career outside academia, and other staff. Call for new mentors for the programmes is once again open during the autumn!
