Registration to BioCity Symposium is open until 11 August 2023. BioCity Symposium is one of the most important meetings in Turku region for researchers working in the fields of bio- and molecular medicine. This year the event is arranged with title Sculpting tissues – Cells, matrix and forces.
Early prevention of diseases improves individual health outcomes and the capacity of the healthcare system. A study conducted at the University of Turku aims at discovering breakthroughs for improving public health and seeks pre-emptive ways to prevent diseases.
This year, BioCity Symposium is arranged on-site in Mauno Koivisto Centre, BioCity on 25–26 August 2023, with the title Sculpting tissues – Cells matrix and forces. Registration is open until Friday, 11 August 2023.
In the context of the 32nd BioCity Symposium (24-25 August 2023) the nineteenth Elias Tillandz prize will be awarded for the best scientific paper published in 2022 in Turku.
