AI4HOPE, a groundbreaking initiative funded by Horizon Europe, is leading the charge in transforming dementia care through cutting-edge digital health interventions. With a mission to revolutionise support for individuals with dementia and their caregivers, AI4HOPE aims to reduce distress and anxiety while enhancing the overall quality of life.
The new technology, which was created at the University of Turku and developed by the company CardioSignal, uses a smartphone to analyse heart movement and detect heart failure. The study involved five organisations from Finland and the United States.

The InFLAMES Corporate Corner will take place on 11th May from 12 to 16 at the Visitor and Innovation Centre Joki in Turku. The event is open to all.

The higher education institutions of the Turku region together with Bayer organised a Corporate Corner event in Medisiina D and Visitor and Innovation Centre Joki on Monday, 10 October 2022. The event set out to discover new collaboration opportunities in the fields of pharmaceutical research, product development, and manufacturing technology. The event also featured an interactive and gamified drug development simulation organised in Visitor and Innovation Centre Joki in the afternoon.
