Children, young people and learning is one of the five multidisciplinary themes of the University of Turku. The INVEST and EDUCA flagships and other multidisciplinary research ecosystems produce scientific knowledge on promoting children and young people’s well-being and learning, reducing social inequality, reforming the welfare state, and ensuring expertise needed in the future.

Our research on the well-being and learning of children and young people and on preventing exclusion is internationally recognised. 

The INVEST and EDUCA flagships and other multidisciplinary research ecosystems produce scientific knowledge on promoting children and young people’s well-being and learning, reducing social inequality, reforming the welfare state, and ensuring expertise needed in the future. 

Research infrastructures, large datasets, and data analytics provide a strong basis for multidisciplinary research and the development of scalable interventions.
