Doctoral Researcher Arno Ylitalo from the Institute of Biomedicine won the Three Minute Thesis competition of the University of Turku. Ylitalo will represent the University of Turku in the international 3MT competition organised by the Coimbra Group for European universities.
There are nearly fifty open vacancies for fixed-term doctoral researcher positions at the University of Turku from 1 January 2023 onwards. Sustainable development is one of the most central themes in the strategies of the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. As an aspect of the policy programmes of their strategies, the universities strengthen the role of sustainable development in their course selection. For the first time this spring, the universities in Turku will offer a course on sustainable development for doctoral students, ”Multidisciplinary approaches to sustainable development”.
