Doctoral Researcher Arno Ylitalo from the Institute of Biomedicine won the Three Minute Thesis competition of the University of Turku. Ylitalo will represent the University of Turku in the international 3MT competition organised by the Coimbra Group for European universities.
Eight doctoral researchers compete in the Three minute thesis finals as they present their research as interestingly as possible in just three minutes. The competition is held at OP hall of Turku School of Economics on March 8 at 12:15, and the event is open for the public.

Doctoral Candidate in Materials Engineering Mahdi Moghaddam won the Three Minute Thesis competition of the University of Turku. Moghaddam will represent the University of Turku in the Coimbra Group’s international 3MT competition of European universities and the international 3MT competition of the SANORD network.
Seven doctoral candidates will be competing for the chance to represent the University of Turku in the Coimbra network’s joint 3MT competition.
Last year's SANORD 3MT competition was won by Postdoctoral Researcher Pablo Pérez Chaves from the University of Turku with his research on Amazonia. This year, the competition will be held in Norway, where Pérez Chaves will be one of the hosts of the event.
