Join the UTU Career Services company visit to the City of Turku: Project Unit and UBC Sustainable Cities Commission on December 4 at 14:00-16:00. Before the visit there is a mandatory prepping session in Zoom on Tuesday 25 Nov, 15:00-15:30.

The project unit at the city of Turku helps different parts of the city government to successfully develop, plan, and manage projects. In other words, we help ensure that city projects are well-prepared and operationally feasible. In some cases, we oversee the project throughout its lifecycle from planning to implementation. You can learn more about the city’s projects on our website Projektit ja hankkeet (in Finnish).
Our unit also hosts the secretariat for the Sustainable Cities Commission of the city network Union of the Baltic Cities (UBC). We provide trainings and consultations for our member cities on a range of topics related to sustainable city development and support our members in initiating, applying, and managing international projects.
The visit is in English and open to both international and domestic students (Finnish/Swedish speaking). Max. 15 participants/visit. The Career Services will confirm your participation as soon as possible after registration. We will prioritise students who have not participated in company visits before and will make sure that all visiting student groups consist of both international and domestic students.
