Life as a Postdoc at the University of Turku

Aika

27.4.2023 klo 9.15 - 11.00
University of Turku is committed to support postdocs, develop the researcher stage after the doctoral degree, which gives a basis for proceeding on research career and working in expert positions in various fields. It is not, however, totally clear who the postdocs at our university are, what kind of support they wish to receive or what kind of careers they envision. The event “Life as a postdoc at the UTU" aims at bringing postdocs together to discuss what the university should do to better support postdocs.

There is no clear-cut definition for a postdoc other than one having quite a recent doctoral degree and usually a fixed-term position in research, but you can also be searching for funding for a postdoc project.

All interested are warmly welcome! We wish that many of you can find the time to participate!
