Seminar: Behind the Scenes of Finnish Working Life

Aika

3.12.2025 klo 13.30 – 16.00
Register by Nov 30!

Join us for an afternoon of decoding the Finnish labour market system with expert speakers - what is actually negotiated and by whom? What kind of services do the unions provide their members?

After this event, you will understand the roles of employee and employer unions in Finland, as well as the kinds of services they offer their members. Along with this, a panel discussion on topics such as “Where is Finnish work-life going?” and “What can the labour market do to support integration?” will be delivered by our expert speakers from Social Science Professionals, Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland, and the Confederation of Finnish Industries.

After the discussions, there will be snacks and mingle and we will invite local union representatives to tell more about memberships and benefits.
