Recombinant anti-GTP (guanosine triphosphate) antibody
- Unique specificity profile: structures of both the nucleotide and the base part contribute on the antigen recognition
- The antibody not only has a capacity to discriminate between GTP and GDP, but it also shows specificity to GTP over other type of trinucleotides (such as CTP and ATP)
- The usefulness of the antibody has been demonstrated in a GTPase cycling assay based on the monitoring of GTP hydrolysis (Kopra K, et al., (2017) Anal Chem. 89:4508-4516)
