The University’s Technology Transfer Office UTU TTO is constantly looking for new users and collaboration opportunities for commercialising research results as well as for guaranteeing funding for new, university-based businesses. UTU TTO also aims to generate new business based on research and coordinates the University’s applications for the Research to Business funding from Business Finland. The unit manages the entire IPR portfolio of the University of Turku, including rights to inventions, patent applications and trademarks. The unit also negotiates the sales and licensing agreements concerning the University's rights, IP and materials.
