The Entrepreneurship Unit at Turku School of Economics (TSE) is an internationally recognised research group dedicated to advancing knowledge on entrepreneurship. Our work spans multiple levels of analysis, including individual, organisational, and societal perspectives.
During 2025, our research concentrated on generating new insights into entrepreneurship and the employment opportunities available to highly skilled international professionals. In addition, we continued to explore the role of public policies in shaping entrepreneurial environments. A key area of focus in 2025 was examining how innovation and cultural policies can be integrated to strengthen and sustain creative ecosystems.
Our new International Bachelor's Programme in Sustainable and Social Entrepreneurship (Basse), welcomed its inaugural cohort of students in 2025. The programme draws on insights gained from our ongoing work to develop innovative entrepreneurship education pedagogies focused on social justice, ecojustice, and hope.
